All our Rapés are traditional and made by indigenous people from many different tribes. Each rapé is sustainably produced by the tribes with the wisdom of their elders. All rapés contain Nicotina Rustica, ashes, a mix of plants and one plant that gives the specific power to that rapé.

Samauma Rapé (Kapok tree) – The Tree of Spirit, the Wind of Light

In the heart of the rainforest, where roots touch the stars, grows Samauma – the sacred tree known among many Amazonian tribes as the Tree of Life. Its presence is majestic, its energy subtle and elevated.

Samauma rapé is a shamanic blend of the ash from the bark of this sacred tree and pure Amazonian tobacco (mapacho), traditionally used to open the upper energy centers, connect with spirit guides, and expand consciousness.

This blend doesn’t ground heavily into the body like earthier rapés – its effect is like a wind through the soul: light, gentle, yet deeply penetrating. It’s perfect for moments when you need peace, silence, clarity. For meditation, for listening to your inner voice, for contemplating deeper meaning.

Effects:

  • Samauma rapé Activates and cleanses the crown chakra

  • Samauma rapé Calms the mind and supports meditation

  • Samauma rapé Aids in dreamwork, intuition, and spiritual messages

  • Samauma rapé Carries a soft, feminine energy – nurturing, protective, guiding

This rapé is crafted by the hands of those who honor the spirit of the plant and its light. It arrives to you in purity, blessed and ready for your inner practice.

The majestic Samauma (kapok) tree has many uses for humans. Its wood is lightweight and porous; good for making carvings, coffins, and dugout canoes. The silky fibers that disperse the seeds are too small for weaving but make great stuffing for bedding and life preservers. Soaps can be made from the oils in the seeds.
